NOTICE INVITING TENDERS

Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, hereinafter refers to as IGRUA, is a premier flying training institution under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.  IGRUA is pleased to invite sealed tenders from well experienced contractors for Water Proofing work in the terrace of Bungalow # 1 in the Residential area as per Scope of work given hereunder :-

Step I- Surface preparation:

 

Removing all loose particles, cleaning the brick tile surface thoroughly with all mechanical aid. It shall be made completely dust and algae free and free from any laitance detecting pores and depilated concrete portion and filling / repairing( damaged surface)/ cutting V groove to all cracks and sealing the same with PMM (modified with Dr. Fixit URP, SBR polymer) as per manufacture’s specification in 1: 3 cement mortar with URP.

Step II- Grading for proper slop

Providing and laying 50-60 mm screed of ratio, 1:2:4 (Cement: coarse sand: 12mm down size aggregate) admix with Dr.Fixit Pidiproof LW, integral waterproofing admixture confirming IS: 2645 to the entire surface also maintain the slope.

Proper curing for two weeks and let it dry before applying APP.

Step III- Waterproofing ( APP membrane 3mm)

Providing and laying the APP of Dr. Fixit, Torchshield, (prefabricated five layers reinforced on non-woven polyester matt. base), having

Carrier weight                            = 160/ m2 ,

Softening point ( R & B ) 0 C      = 150

Penetration at 25 0  C dmm        = 15-40

Tensile strength ( L/T)N/ 5 cm   = 700/550

Elongation at break ( L/T ) %     = 40/50

Lap joint strength ( L/T) N/5 cm = >700/550

Tear Resistance ( L/T) N           = 150/170

Heat Resistance                        = no flow at 1250 C            

Would be laid after applying the Dr. Fixit APP primer and all the joints will be sealed with blown fire flames, min. overlapping by 100 mm in horizontal and 150mm in vertical joints.

2.      Proof of Similar Work of not less than Rs. 2.00 lakhs carried out during the current/previous year on any central/state/autonomous organizations alongwith Satisfactory Performance report from one such organization.

3.      Proof of Authorised Dealership of material used for the work (APP)

4.      Promise for Performance Warranty of minimum ten years
