Selection Procedure

To secure wider spectrum of talented students across the country, a notification on the schedule of selection process is issued through our website as well as through leading news papers. Subsequently, a stringent selection process is followed which involves :

A Written Entrance Examination at various centres all over India
Pilot Aptitude Test , followed by
the final selection by an interview board
comprising of representatives from industry bigwigs like NACIL, DGCA, Psychologist and IGRUA examiners

The selection of candidates for Ab-initio (PPL) to CPL Course is done as per merit compiled after Written Test, Pilot Aptitude Test and the Interview

A portion of total Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC categories of candidates as per guidelines issued by Government of India from time to time

Written Examination

Course	Paper		Subjects
Ab-initio to CPL		One Paper of 2 hr duration	General English, Maths, Physics and Reasoning (10+2 standard)

The successful candidates in Written Examination undergo Pilot Aptitude Test and Interview. A merit list is prepared for different categories of candidates as per GOI guidelines and the shortlisted candidates are issued Instructions to join in batches for effective utilization of our resources

Examination Centres

Written Test is conducted on all India basis at different locations* such as:

Delhi

Hyderabad

Kolkata

Lucknow

Mumbai

* Subject to availability of sufficient candidates at respective centres.

Eligibility

Ab-initio to CPL	Minimum Age at the time of joining the course : 17 yrs
	Qualifications: 10+2 with Maths, Physics and English
	55% marks in Physics and Maths taken together	for General Candidates
	50% marks in Physics and Maths taken together	for SC/ST/OBC candidates
	with pass marks in English for all categories.

Medical

Class I Medical Certificate is required before joining the course so that the students are in a position to start flying without further delay. The list of authorized Class I Medical Examination Centres is available at DGCA website http://www.dgca.nic.in/medical/c1exam-ind.htm

B.Sc (Aviation)

Candidates can opt for B.Sc (Aviation) Degree from Chatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur which shall be conducted simultaneously with CPL course subject to completion of the prescribed syllabus on aviation subjects, flying and project work. Duration of this course will be 03 years.
