REFRESHER COURSE FOR FLYING INSTRUCTORS

STANDARD INSTRUCTIONS
1.

The Refresher Course for Flying Instructors will be as per schedule and will include the additional requirements as per DGCA Operations Circular 3 of 2007 dated 26 Jul 07.  The classes are conducted between 0900-1630 hrs and IPT/CPT upto 1930 hrs.

Registration for the particular course No. should be done in advance to avoid disappointment. The application form for registration should be downloaded and sent to us by Email/ Fax 10 days in advance to enable us to confirm registration before commencement of the course.

Note: All ground lectures will be held in Institutional Area. Day 2 programme shall be conducted at Flying Operations Department.

Flying Instructors are to note that the short duration of the course is to be fully utilized. It is therefore necessary that they plan their arrival and departure according to schedule.

4.

Instructors desirous of practicing extra Instrument Approach Procedures on simulator should plan to stay a day longer for this purpose.  The charges for simulator flying on  Simulator are  Rs.3000/- for DA-40 and Rs. 4000/- for DA-42 per hr. These Charges are in addition to the fee for the Refresher Course.

It is suggested that you arrive at the Akademi by the evening, day before so that the course can commence on time.  On completion of course, you can leave the Akademi after 1630 hrs on the third day.

6.

Training Fees, Boarding & Messing charges are as follows:

   

Training fees

Rs.10000/-(includes scheduled backseat flying & planned Simulator exercises).

Rs.1000/- (AC Room) per day

As per applicable rates
         

Each participant is requested to send a non-refundable Demand Draft for Rs. 4000/- as a commitment money in advance in  favour of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, payable at Raebareli. This amount shall be adjusted against total training fee at the time of arrival and is non-refundable.

Accommodation:
You are requested to contact Mr. B.K.Tandon, Mess & Hostel Supervisor for information on Extn. No. 122 (Off), 273 (Res) for availability and booking of the accommodation.

8.

Mess Dress: 
You are to adhere to the dress code while in Mess premises as follows:

(i)     Shirt / “T” Shirt with collar, Pant, Socks and Shoes/Sandals with strap.

(ii)     Pyajama, Kurta and Chappalls are not permitted in the Dining Hall.
