Flying Operation
The Operational Area is located 1½ km from the Institutional Area. It houses ATC cum Flight Operations Center, Runway (1722m), two Hangars and Refueling Station.

The Flying Training at IGRUA commenced initially with 8 TB – 20 aircraft. To cater for large number of aspirants, IGRUA has inducted additional state-of-the-art fleet with glass cockpits It has now grown up with fleet as below
